What Common Health will do
If FDA permits compounding, a Common Health clinician may prescribe it where appropriate, prepared by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. It would not be FDA approved.
Your clinician decides what is appropriate, if anything.
When a Common Health clinician prescribes a compounded medication, it is prepared for you, from your individual prescription, by a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy in the United States. Compounded medications are not FDA approved and FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality. The pharmacy's name appears on your prescription label, and your care team can answer questions about where your medication was prepared. We do not use research-use-only or non-pharmacy sources.
